UPDATE

Pain therapy for 12-year-old Hassan - 500 euros are needed

12-year-old Haji Hassan is suffering from cancer. We have all only known this for a few weeks.

He will not survive, because treatment would only be possible in South Africa or Europe .... If we get donations of 500 Euros together, we can at least give Hassan a pain-free time...
Please, go to the donation form - no matter if you donate 5 or 10 or more Euros - please help the little boy.

The diagnosis "cancer" - only operable in South Africa or Europe/USA - at least help him to take away the pain ... please ...

The prehistory

- A brave boy from a nomadic tribe is brought to the village because he has a lot of pain in his stomach - Markus Dietz from the aid project drives him to the hospital and accompanies the examinations:

A doctor in Germany examined the CT/x-ray images: "The guy has an unclear tumour that is squeezing the ureters and causing urinary retention in the kidney. Only a sample can show what kind of tumour it is, the ureters may have to be splinted - I can't tell you more even with pictures. "

"Volumetric acquisition of the whole abdomen is performed before and after intravenous administration of non-ionic contrast medium, followed by multiplanar reformation.
A large heterogeneously enhanced lobulated mass of mixed density is seen in the abdomen extending into the pelvis along the pelvic sidewall (L> R) compressing the ureters, more to the right with resultant hydronephrosis. Areas of internal cystic changes are seen within the part on the left side in the hypochondrium. Mass dimensions app. 177 x 226 x 142 mm. A compressive effect on the urinary bladder is seen. The bowel is displaced upwards and laterally. A discrete soft tissue density mass is seen in the right inguinal area (13 x 20 mm).
The liver is enlarged. Hepatic hypodense lesions are seen (42 x 20 mm and 17 x 13 mm). The spleen is slightly enlarged with normal parenchyma.
Moderate free fluid is seen in the abdominal cavity.
Impression
NC & CECT assessment of abdomen and pelvis shows:
A large heterogeneously enhanced lobulated mass of mixed density in the abdomen extending into the pelvis along the pelvic sidewall (L> R) compressing the ureters, more on the right with resulting hydronephrosis with areas of internal cystic changes within the part on the left side in the hypochondrium.
