Galana River School Project

- we build a school in Kenya

a project to make the small world in the village community in Mwanza in Kenya a better place...

Since 2014, we have been building a school in Mwanza on the Galana River. We collect donations and are on site in Kenya for a large part of the year to manage the school construction. In addition to building the school, we also train people who will later provide valuable services to the village community: doctors, mechanics, craftsmen.

And through sponsorships, we specifically support children and young adults who have the potential to develop the village community in Mwanza. However, medical care is particularly important. A doctor and nurse would be a blessing for the whole region. However, we can only do this with your help and support. Through financial donations or active help directly on site!

School construction

We have already built a state-approved school in Kenya. But the number of classrooms and teacher accommodation is far from sufficient to teach the 240 pupils. A planned extension still needs money to be realised

Training

We specifically support children and adults who have the potential to bring the village community in Kenya forward later on.
Education sponsorships provide the financial basis, because from primary school onwards, the families have to raise the school fees or money for studies themselves.

Health

The nearest doctor is a 4-hour drive from the village community. There is only our off-road vehicle for transport. Medical care is not available. Except through us as the local man is a paramedic. But far too often even he cannot help. We want to build a health station so that the chances of survival of the people in the Mwanza village community increase significantly!

For several years, Markus Dietz and Birgit Dietz have been socially engaged in Kenya. Building a school near the "Galana River" and teaching people to grow their own food is a matter close to their hearts. Read more in the articles and help!
