The coronavirus pandemic has not only partially paralyzed social and economic life worldwide, but also many aid projects—especially in Africa. Markus Dietz from Forchtenberg has also had to experience this. The Hohenlohe native was instrumental in building a school in Kenya that has enabled 260 children to learn so far. Last year, the school had to close due to coronavirus. Presenter Ivonne Schowtka spoke to Markus Dietz about what the situation is like there now, a good year later, whether the school is up and running again, and what measures are currently in the pipeline.
